World Genealogy Digital Library

ABOUT US

The World Genealogy Digital Library (WGDL) is the first public genealogy space dedicated to collecting, preserving, and providing access to genealogical information for the public domain. First established in 2016 by graduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, WGDL is a nonprofit digital library that welcomes any family tree, photograph, oral history recording or audio file, video, or text that documents the history of any family anywhere in the world.

If you would like to contribute your family history, and be apart of the WGDL, we only ask that you provide as much information as you can about your digital objects. In doing so, it is our hope that future generations can easily find and access the information. If you have any questions, or are interested in contributing to WGDL, please CONTACT US.
