This Healthy Cooking collection stems from our interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, feeling good and having energy. It is a culmination of a semester’s study in Digital Libraries at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. This collection contains a variety of recipes provide you with a wide range of healthy foods from which to choose. The Healthy Cooking collection contains main entrees, side dishes, appetizers and even desserts! We have also provided you with vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian options.

 

Eating healthy is not a fad diet or temporary endeavor; it’s a way of life. It doesn’t have to be complicated, time consuming, or expensive. It’s a matter of learning some techniques that can be incorporated into your daily routine. We all get busy and it’s easy to grab something unhealthy while running out the door or driving across town. Here are some simple tips to get you started.

The goal is to limit your intake of saturated fats, sugars, processed foods, and simple carbohydrates.  When you start to follow these suggestions, it is our hope that you will begin to feel lighter and more energized! Like a healthy diet, this collection contains a variety of foods to tempt your palate. We have also provided some additional resources to help you get on the road to healthy eating.
